The Foundation for AIDS Research

Founded in 1985, amfAR is dedicated to ending the global AIDS epidemic through innovative research. amfAR plays a catalytic role in accelerating the pace of HIV/AIDS research and achieving real breakthroughs. In the course of its 25-year history, amfAR has invested nearly $325 million in its programs, spawning numerous significant advances in HIV prevention, treatment and care. Renee spends her time helping this organization in hopes of raising more money for the education and research of treatments and a cure for this disease. Renee has personal experience on how terrible the HIV/AIDS disease is. She has had several friends diagnosed with HIV/AIDS and has seen how important it is to give her time to supporting this amazing charity.
